Livre d'or

We loved being within walking distance to so many great locations. The apartment was spacious and quiet, and the views of the Paris rooftops gave me that happy, "Yay, I'm really in Paris feeling!" Apparently, the street is part of Paris' tiny Japantown, and locals were queuing up for noodles every night. Restaurants, groceries, metro stations were close and convenient. The management was very friendly and helpful. We got in after hours and someone met us in the apartment. The only caveat is that the area of the bathroom where the toilet is located is very narrow. We would definitely recommend this company and this apartment. Paris is absolutely as amazing as I always envisioned it, and the Parisians were wonderful, even when I attempted to use my fairly bad French. I can't wait to return!

This apartment just off the Rue Faubourg St Honore and near the Madelaine and Place de la Concord is very spacious, well appointed and elegantly decorated. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is quiet, looking onto an internal court yard. Paris Furnished Apartments were spot on with organising an airport car service and meeting us at the apartment - totally punctual. Great restaurants in the street and the local Boulengerie is the incomparable Fauchon which opens at 8.00am for the best baguette in Paris.

We would stay here again, for sure. Windows looking out over rooftops and the western view gives lovely sunsets as well as reflected sunrises. Spacious living room and bedroom. Nice kitchen. Just a couple areas to consider: kitchen had no oven, only a micro-wave. Stovetop burners needed some instruction from utube in order to use them but once we figured it out, they were amazing. Toilet required thin, flexible people as it's at the end of a sort of tunnel. Very small elevator so that the 2 people in it better like each other. Nice big shower with 2 kinds of showerheads. Comfy bed and well supplied linens.

My wife and I stayed at Rue des Francs Bourgeois in September for a week. It was perfect for our needs. The location was fantastic: right in the heart of Le Marais, near the river, and with many eating and shopping places nearby. We felt very at home in the unit; it was safe, quiet, clean, and fun! The outdoor area was perfect. The staff was great to deal with and very accommodating with our check in. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an excellent stay in this apartment in the Marais area. The apartment was spacious and had all the facilities that you would need. It is centrally located to many attractions and with metro stops nearby a really good central base. The people at PFA were good to deal with, prompt with their replies and provided good service. The apartment is up three flights of stairs so not suitable for people with mobility issues. The free calls to Australia were an added bonus.

This is a nice, centrally located apartment in the Marais. It is close to all the sites you might want to go and see, most are within 2 kms. The apartment is close to Rue Rambuteau, with a wide choice of eat in and take away food shops. We ate out the first night, then bought from the local shops and ate in thereafter. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a large living area and a comfortable bedroom. The kitchen was cosy but very workable. The bathroom was a bit tired but ok. More on the bathroom below. Some points to note: This apartment is on the third floor, and there are 60 steps up to it. Make sure you can get yourself and your bags up and down. The apartment is very old (the exposed beams are original - maybe 300 years old) and noise insulation is very poor. The lady upstairs wore high heels and walked around until after 11pm every night - we could hear every footstep. On Wednesday night she had a party, and we were entertained until after midnight. Be prepared for the external noise. The agents (PFA) asked us if we would mind letting some builders in to have a look for five minutes. This turned into builders being in and out several times over 2 days while they repaired the sewage outlet pipes. When we left there was still a hole in the bathroom wall. The builders advised they would be back within a month for more major work. Be prepared if you are staying in this apartment Sep-Nov 2015.

This apartment is well located in the Marais near shopping, markets, restaurants, transportation, etc. We love the Marais so this was a plus for us. The apartment is spacious by Paris standards, having two bedrooms and two baths. It is well furnished for a rental, the kitchen is very workable, the apartment was clean, and all of its features seemed to work. The management company is easy to deal with, responsive and helpful. A representative met us in front of the building when we arrived and introduced us to the apartment. They also provided a lot of information about the neighborhood--which is helpful if this is your first stay in the Marais. As with most older Paris apartments, it has a few quirks that a prospective renter needs to consider. First, the apartment is located about 2 1/2 floors off the street level. If lugging baggage up many stairs isn't a problem, this won't be an issue. Second, to reach the master bedroom, you have to walk through the first bedroom. This could be an issue for some. We made it work but it wasn't ideal. Third, while the apartment contains two baths, the toilet for the first bedroom is located near the entry door to the apartment rather than in the bedroom. The apartment isn't perfect but, on the whole, we made it work and had a terrific stay in Paris.

I really liked this little studio, it has everything you could want and the terrace is very cute. The bed is comfy, there is plenty of cupboard space, decent shower and good kitchen facilities. It's right in the middle of Marais and very handy for getting to pretty much anywhere. HOWEVER - The big problem is the electricity unit in the corner that makes the most awful grinding clanging noise, at half hour intervals, all through the day and night!! We thought it must be broken so after the first dreadful night of no sleep (I could even hear it through my earplugs) we emailed PFA to ask if they could come and fix it. I got a fairly quick response asking if they could come around. I replied to say that we would not be in but that they were welcome to come in our absence. I received another reply at the end of the day asking when we would be in. I explained that we only had 4 days to enjoy Paris, so we were not going to sit in the apartment waiting but they had keys so please could they come and fix it while we were out. I never heard back from that email so we spent all 4 nights with this monster in the corner of the room. I can't quite explain how annoying it was! It's such a shame as the booking process was generally good (though the price did go up from the quote on trip advisor) and the staff were very helpful about letting us leave our bags in the apartment until the end of the day when we left so we could pick them up on the way to the train station. The location could not be better but I really would not advise a stay here until they have fixed or replaced the noise machine.

This apartment is very convenient for getting around Paris. Close to the main RER station at Chatelet as well as various metro stations. Walking distance to the Louvre, Notre Dame, Pompidou and if you're feeling adventurous like I was on the last day, Bastille and the Canal. Very large two bedroom in great 'happening' neighborhood. Convenient to full range of culinary options - food types and prices - and grocery stores. Short walk to Metro station for getting around and Seine river for anyone interested in taking a long walk or going for a run. Lots of boutique shopping in vicinity. Apartment was super-quiet -- no street noise - overlooks quiet courtyard. Two floor walk-up behind very secure entry gate. Very large layout. Sufficiently stocked with houseware items. Could have used a bit of TLC/updates - microwave old, some tiles loose in floor, lots of creaky floor boards, but all in all in solid shape and clean. Digital access gate off the street for easy access.

The apartment was very nicely kept and well equipped. It was an easy walk to the Metro and many great Paris locations. We were quite comfortably accommodated as a family of 4, although sofa-beds are never the best night's sleep! The information folder should probably contain a reminder for guests not used to apartment living about avoiding noise transfer to the apartment below.

Wonderful clean snug studio in the heart of the Marais. Very quite at night. Compact kitchen is great for breakfasts and light meals. Bathroom was clean and used the tight space very well. Very safe and comfortable and a lovely apartment to have morning coffee and plan your day. PFA (Paris Furnished Apartments) is always a joy to book with. They have always met me at the property and they walk you through everything about the unit to make sure you know where everything is and how everything works.

March 2015

This place was good for us for several reasons: great location between Bastille and Place des Vosges, second bedroom has 2 twin beds (not many do, and we were traveling with our 2 sons in their 20s), and extra half-bath. There was a leaky dishwasher pipe caused water to puddle on the kitchen. PFA was very quick to make it right, which we appreciated. It was not luxurious but it was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Thank you so much for renting out your beautiful apartment. We are so thrilled by its location and how well it suited our needs. My family came from Canada to Paris for 4 days before going on to Ireland and Scotland. We managed to see all the tourist sites as going to place Versailles. We loved having a little bakery shop downstairs as well as the grocery nearby.
We had great meals and enjoyed the friendless of the of the city and the people within it.
We would recommend not only coming back to Paris, but as well staying at your place!.
Thank-you again,

Also I would like to let you know how much I enjoyed staying in the apartment. It is a great central location and rue montorgueil is such a special market strip that I will miss very much. The apartment has a nice layout and was very cosy, but never felt small. The separate bathroom and kitchen had heaps of room. Wow!!! What a wonderful romantic apartment in a sensational location. It is hard to imagine it could have been better. We were met & greeted by Ianto in a very professional, yet extremely friendly manner. We felt very welcome right from the start.

We have used the services of PFA travel and have been delighted by the apartment we have rented and the services received. On arrival we were worried as the apartment was cold, and after a phone call we received within 20mn the visit of Clement who solved the problem. The appartment was as described and we appreciated the phone call from Paris to NZ to let us know that the furniture was basic. It was basic but functional. The bedrooms were large and practical, one opens on the courtyard and is very quiet, the other one on the street is also quiet as the street is only used by the people who live there. The beds were good. Excellent service and a very well situated apartment.
We will use your services again.

DO yourself a favor and stay here.
We stayed in the Rue Larrey property for 8 days. Two couples, all of us over 55. No problems with the size of the apartment. The location is perfect for the Metro (Place Monge)...150 yards away. Farmers market three times weekly at Palce Monge metro station. Grocery store two blocks away. Bakery on Rue Larrey. The Le Monge Bistro has wonderful food and service..(order the Leg of Lamb) and inexpensive prices as well! The apartment itself is quiet and night and beds are comfortable. I've got to admit the shower in the kitchen is odd and small (be careful not bend over...swinging doors will open with the slightest touch exposing your behind to the toaster and anyone else in the kitchen...but that does make for great stories later) We really enjoyed our stay in this neighborhood. The photos show a Spartan décor, but we enjoyed the table and had many bottles of wine, slices of cheese and too many laughs to count.

We 4 enjoyed the spaciousness of the apartment very much. The bedrooms and the living room were very comfortable. Wonderful!
Our experience with this property exceeded our expectations! Well set out apartment allowing some privacy for ourselves and our adult children, typical small Parisian kitchen although after some shopping in the nearby Rue Cler was ample enough to prepare a couple of meals, large bedrooms and living area. The most stunning was the ability to look out the window at the Eiffel tower during the day and the nightly light show. The property managers were great - clear communication, adaptable, customer friendly and very patient when we were lost! Met onsite for a walk through to ensure we were comfortable. Only tip - get clear address details to avoid confusion with cab drivers. Close to everything.

"PFA is a wonderful company to work with in securing a place to stay in Paris. The inventory of apartments is extensive, their attention to detail in customer service is exemplary, and the apartments are clean, comfortable, and have everything you'll need. We have rented two apartments from PFA in different parts of the city and they we both exactly what we needed. Our latest was a sweet little bijou on the left bank across from the Louvre and next to the Musee D'Orsay - what a location! And the apartment had the charm of old-world Paris with all the modern conveniences for easy living.
We definitely recommend both this apartment and and any other that PFA has to offer!"

I was amazed at the location of this flat. If one could find a more central location I would be surprised. All of the amenities are there and you are within walking distance of most of the great sites including The Louvre,Notre Dame Cathedral,Musee Du D'orsay. Metro is right up the street. Absolutely perfect! Safe and the best walking I have ever experienced. Bistro and shops everywhere and the Seine across the street! I am going to book again with this company for my vacation next year through a journey through Europe and will stay at one of their locations in The Marais. It was simply the best vacation I have ever had and I have been all over the world. Many thanks to my hosts and I look forward to booking next summer."

The location of this apartment was excellent for us. St. Germaine was exactly what I read about! The Metro and RER made all of Paris easily accessible. The building was quiet and secure with two locked doors prior to entering the building. The apartment itself was adequate. The bed was super comfy! The temperature was perfect. We never ran out of hot water. Not having a shower was hard to get used to, but there is a hand held shower nozzle which did the job. The size of the bathroom was very nice. We would definitely consider renting this place again if we ever decide to return to Paris.

Our Stay in Paris , April 2015
Continuing also in 2015 our consuete one week stay in Paris, we used again with full satisfation the nice assistance of PFA Agency by renting the apartment located in rue Quincampoix 11. The apartment was really perfect with a nice living room illuminated by a large window and an upper level sleeping area fully equipped. We occupied the same apartment also in 2014 and always enjoied a really optimal accommodation with easy and convenient use of all facilities including cooking, allowing my wife Gabriella to prepare excellents dinners in a family atmosphere. Also the location was very convenient in a very lived area , with coffees ,restaurants and any type of shops, all at walking distance from many important historical sites.
Finally all this was made possible by the very qualified assistance offered by the PFA staff, ready to respond on time to possible needs connected to our stay.Important also to say that the apartment was offered at a very sustainable price with a very satisying money value.
Thanks PFA friends , we shall come again !

Wonderful clean snug studio in the heart of the Marais. Very quite at night. Compact kitchen is great for breakfasts and light meals. Bathroom was clean and used the tight space very well. Very safe and
comfortable and a lovely apartment to have morning coffee and plan your day. PFA (Paris Furnished Apartments) is always a joy to book with. They have always met me at the property and they walk you through everything about the unit to make sure you know where everything is and how everything works.

"Large, convenient location"
The flat is very large with a King bedroom. It's centrally located-we walked to most Paris attractions from here. On the down side the wifi connection wasn't reliable and there were fewer family friendly restaurants in the area.

Thank you for your professional asistance in obtaining an apartment for us at very short notice.
The rue Sainte Anne apartment was everything that we had hoped for. It was perfectly located and full of the Paris charm that we were seeking to enjoy. Quiet, comfortable and very spacious.
We intend to recommend Roots Travel to all of our family, friends and colleagues. It is a professional and honest company that delivers what it advertises.
Thank you again for your kind assistance.

Thank you for making my eight days in Paris safe and comfortable - the apartment was perfect for my needs and in a good central location. I would certainly stay there again, anytime. There were many restaurants and galleries nearby, a wonderful bakery directly across the street and the Monoprix just a few blocks away.

We had a lovely long weekend in Paris and visited the usual tourist locations but what made the break was having had the opportunity to stay in the wonderful apartment of 54, Rue des Archives, the view looking over the historic National Archives building and courtyard were perfect. The apartment decor was splendid as was the overall layout of the apartments double bedrooms, en suite shower wash rooms, lounge and kitchen. Secure entrance, courtyard and and unique stairwell providing a small but good working lift. We'll certainly love to stay there again when we hope to return in the summer.

Saludos Yanina

We enjoyed a lot our stay in the apartment Boissy d'Anglas street. The location between Concorde and Madeleine is ideal, the apartment is very nice and comfortable although a little bit dark during the day, the service of PFA is up to the standard of both location and flat.
Thanks to note that the video phone is working perfectly when we were told it was not. You just have to push the # 33 and it rings in the flat and one can open the door by pushing the button with a key on the flat videophone.
A lot of our friends are asking us PFA contact for their next stay in Paris.
Thanks to all of you guys and specially to the Lady who give us the key as she was really efficient.
Best regards

We wanted something simple clean and comfortable as a base to enjoy everything Paris has to offer. Rue de Francs Bourgeois was just that. It is a small self-contained studio but it does have good facilities and everything works. The only request we made was for a change of bedding halfway through a 2 week holiday and that was supplied with efficiency. Indeed, the entire booking was handled by a straightforward & responsive system. In the studio, there are demarcated spaces for separate functions (sleeping, cooking, eating, lounging, washing) which allowed us to manage a 2 week holiday quite comfortably. The apartment is tucked away at the back of the original courtyard so it is very peaceful and, for people who have anxieties about security, it feels totally private and safe. On the way out, the front door opens onto the busy, cheerful & bohemian Francs Bourgeois, thronged by relaxed shoppers, looking for clothes, jewellery, objet d'art etc. in the colourful local boutiques: they are a cheerful crowd. It is about 50 steps or so to Place des Vosges. Down the Rue de Turenne to the Rue St. Antoine, there are all the domestic shops you could want - if you want to cater for yourselves. Wonderful patisserie at Miss Manon. The bus system locally is excellent - 65 to and from the Gare du Nord, 69 to pretty well all of the key sites in central Paris through the centre and out to the Eiffel Tower. And walking home at night along the Seine and through the islands and then through St. Paul, the antique area, is a total pleasure. The Bastille is just round the corner, with a great sunday market (and an opera house), and the Pompidou Centre is at the other end of Francs Bourgeois with culture aplenty, not to mention the Picasso Museum round the corner. We had a wonderful time & have no trouble recommending it.

Just spent Christmas here, 7 nights. It is a gorgeous, spacious apartment, with low beamed ceilings. Very cosy and comfortable, and tastefully furnished. It was also extremely clean, warm, and very well equipped. Everything, from the dishwasher\washing machine to the coffeemaker were in perfect order. The kitchen and bathroom are new. The bathroom has a really good shower. The toilet is placed in a narrow niche in the bathroom, and my Viking found this a somewhat tight squeeze, but it wasn't really an issue. The wooden floors in the flat are uneven and creaky, but we found this endearing, although some people might not see the appeal! It helps not to wear shoes indoors! A friend who is a Parisian native called by and was impressed by the apartment, and thought it was excellent value for money. This place is so quiet. Even with the windows open, we could hardly believe we were in the middle of the city. The other apartment dwellers in the building are discreet, so this is not the place for noisy parties. There is a lift, but we didn't use it on a daily basis as it seemed somewhat 'temperamental'. The location here is absolutely unbeatable. The Louvre is 5 min walk down the street. The Luxembourg Gardens are about 50 min walk, as is the Eiffel Tower. There are some wonderful local cafés: I can recommend the Café Dalayrac just around the block for very friendly service and good food. The iconic Café de la Paix is 5 min walk uptown. Rue St Anne is a mecca for Japanese cusine, and we dined in several places just down the street. There is a small food shop on Rue de Petits Champs, just about 2 min walk away. I will definitely stay here again. I found the agency, Paris Furnished Apartments very reponsible and professional.

We enjoyed our stay in Paris in the Marais. Rue de Francs Bougeois was in a perfect location & even tho it is on a busy street it is located at the rear & was very quiet. I would recommend PFA to anyone looking for a rental in Paris. Everything went very smoothly.

November 2014

We spent five days at the apartment. It was at the fifth floor but the lift was not working. It was a disaster to climb 5 floors with a 3 year old child especially after the long walks. The toilet is unbelievably small and you can't handle your child at the toilet. There was a hidden room just next to the bathroom, I think there were workers inside and irritating voices of drilling machines continued for days, yet we did not see anybody.

Chose this apartment based on previous reviews. The apartment is quire large by Parisian standards withquite a good kitchen and bathroom. The sun streaming in the open windows was wonderful. The weather during our stay was unseasonably warm so the windows were open most of the time. Except for the emergency services sirens, the sounds coming into the apartment added to the Parisian atmosphere. There was the neighbour who sang beautiful french songs for quite some time during the day, the young people taking their breaks from the cafe across the courtyard, and neighbours catching up with each other. The neigbourhood is made of of tiny one way streets and lanes with cafes, restaurants and food shops of all kinds. We felt very safe walking around at all hours of the day, partly because of the number of government buildings in the neigbourhood and the constant police presence. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to experience Paris as the locals do. Finally I would recommend the Team at PFA for their great service. They are professional and friendly.

Let's get the minor issues out first: futon-like mattress on bed, no electrical outlet in bathroom, three floor walk-up. Now for the good stuff: first and foremost, the location is one-half block from the Rue Montorgueil shopping street, an amazing street that has moved to the top of my list of great shopping streets in Paris. Everything is there; cafes, restaurants, supermarkets, meat & cheese specialty shops, bakeries, clothing, etc., everything you would expect to find on a good market street. The apartment itself is clean and stocked; a big advantage being a washer in the kitchen. A lavarie to dry your clothes is only two blocks away. I can't say enough good things about the staff and organization of Paris Furnished Apartments. My rental was for one month. Always responsive and even there on Saturdays at their office when I needed something. The price included everything including rental fee and insurance. All done by credit card; no money changing hands. An extremely smooth transaction. I highly recommend them!

Great location and good size apartment. On the plus side the apartment is equipped with a full size washer and a dryer which is very rare in Paris. It is also exceptionally quiet considering it's central location and has a very nice entrance on an exceptional street right next to the Village Royale. The large apartment wraps around a pleasant courtyard with greenery. There is a good HD flat screen but the stereo should be removed as it does not work. You can not beat it's location next to fashion houses and top gourmet stores, not to mention walking distance to Place de la Concorde, Louvre etc. Unfortunately, the elevator was out of commission for part of the stay. The kitchen had all the appliances but it lacked cooking utensils, only a 2 cup Milano espresso maker, only one wine glass and no cutting board etc. I am told that these have now been remedied. The issues were addressed and I was compensated for it's short coming. I would definitely consider this apartment for a future stay.

This apartment is perfectly situated in the Marais, and close to everything. Paris Furnished Apartments provided an excellent service. They were at the apartment when we arrived to greet us. The apartment is quite spacious and well equipped. Internet, phone, appliances and washing machine worked perfectly. After climbing two floors you arrive at a quite and beautifully decorated apartment. The apartment is off of a interior courtyard, so the security is excellent. We would stay here again.

Our experience with the team from Paris Furnished Apartments was first class, they were all very helpful and communicated promptly. The location of the apartment in Rue Saint Martin is ideal, a few minutes walk to the Notre Dame and situated in a pedestrian only section of this lively road right in the heart of the Marais. Cafes, restaurants, boulangeries, good shopping, all at your doorstep. The apartment itself is quite old and shabby with windows that open onto inner air wells but it was clean and provided the basics for four adults who after all were there to explore the wonders of Paris and who were very happy to come home to our little piece of Paris each night.

Someone of the agency met us en route from the station, and even helped carry our bags. He gave a great introduction to this marvelous apartment. The rooms are gorgeous. The location ideal - right down to the friendly staff in the Strada cafe downstairs. This is a perfect base for a stay in Paris. We are a family of three and it suited our needs exactly. Close to trains, close to the seine. Food shops and lots of good cafes nearby.

We were family of 4 and we mainly appreciated the location close to the main attractions, just behind George Pompidou center and Notre-Dame. Quiet apartment with an easy access at first floor and well-served position with lots resturants and markets. The space is enough for a family of 4 with 2 boys which get separated beds. Minor issues are the small refrigerator available and the dark environment but acceptable. You need to turn on the lights also during the day. Overall we suggest this apartment and special thanks to Damien for his welcome and support from PFA.

We knew we wanted to go the VRBO route for our Paris vacation and had the amazing good fortune of coming across this apartment first when searching the web. It was miraculously available for the length of our intended stay, even though we only started looking about a month prior to our departure date, so I happily snapped it up. Its location was PERFECT, mere minutes from the Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Champs Élysées, you name it. It was spacious, clean, had an American-sized bathroom and small but practical kitchen (which we made very good use of). The management company was responsive and their staff was pleasant and very helpful. We will absolutely stay there again. I really don't know how we could do any better!

The trip from the airport to the apartment was flawless. We opted for the taxi service and were extremely happy we did, their was a railroad strike at the time and the roads were jammed, our driver took a detour avoiding the traffic jam. Our contact person, was at the apartment when we arrived, greeting us with a smile and a helping hand. The apartment is perfect for two people, with a romantic terrace that looks out over a quiet garden plaza. There are neighbors and you can hear them on occasion but this is part of living like a Parisien, you are clearly not in a hotel and that is why we stayed in an apartment and not a hotel. We would go again, no question about it.

Charming apartment with great light and breezes located in a fantastic section of the 1st. The management company 'Paris Furnished Apartments' was wonderful to work with. Very customer focused, helped us with our transfers from the train station - (which was a huge relief since there was a strike and the train schedule was a mess). Met us at the apartment and gave us a thorough run down of the property and the area. Very accommodating. Highly recommend!

On arrival at the apartment, we were pleasantly surprised at its perfect situation.. The street is close to many Paris landmarks and attractions, and is itself an interesting narrow street with many individual and interesting shops. Once inside the apartment , one finds oneself in a haven of peace and quiet. The bed was very comfortable, the tiny kitchen well-equipped and overall the room was a pleasant place to be. Tastefully furnished. Little balcony looked into quiet ,leafy courtyard below. Just one slight irritation, the shower failed to drain quickly enough and was very small , needed an upgrade perhaps, rather battered round the edges.PFA pleasant and helpful. We would not hesitate to use this apt again.

We spent a month in this apartment. Absolutely perfectly located! Great, safe neighborhood. Easy walk to the Metro, food shops, boutiques. The Paris Furnished apartment folks were very helpful. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, dishes, etc. Lots of clean linen. Beautiful building. Spacious rooms and dependable wifi. Free phone calls to the us! There is a shower/bath, sink, and toilet in the hallway that connects the two bedrooms. Off the first bedroom there is a shower and sink only; the apartment's second toilet is located near the kitchen. One problem: Sometimes the neighbor's cigarette smoke would find its way into our living room. Could be a temporary situation.

This one bedroom apartment was perfect for our stay in November 2013 for 9 days enjoying Paris with my two daughters. I was trying to keep cost to a minimum so opted for one bedroom with. Queen bed and pull out sofa bed in lounge. We managed with the 3 of us after all we were out most of the day. The lounge area was huge and we could open the windows in the morning and the sun would stream in all of them. We only used the kitchen once to cook and it was more than adequate. Bathroom was ok - clean with enough room considering the age o these great buildings. I felt it was all very authentic. The Marais was the perfect location and the best part out pad in Rue de Temple was it was really quiet at night. PFa was fantastic - responded to emails promptly and was always on time when meeting us. Only downside were the 3 flights of stairs but we saw it as a good thing as it went some of the way towards working off all he delicious food. In addition the best coffee shop in Paris was at our front door, groceries Round the corner and boulangeries and restaurants everywhere. Loved it and can't wait to get back - a truly enjoyable experience.

This apartment was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed in the same place 2 years ago. There was a slight glitch with the cleaning schedule when we arrived, but someone from the agency met us personally to correct the situation immediately. We were extremely satisfied with the accommodations, location, and the agency service. There are a few flights of stairs to climb, but the unit was well maintained, comfortable and quiet. Pfa (Paris Furnished apartments) staff also provided a very reliable airport pick up / drop off service, and a number of helpful hints for our stay.

It was just as picutes on the web and very confortable apartment. The best part of the apartment was the location. An awesome boulangerie next door, 2 supermarché, restaurants and 2 neaest subway stations that we could go anywhere! Also, many thanks to Nico and Ianto who took care of us Check-in and out. It was very smooth even we did late check-in and one day before check out. As for a room, acutually 2 room lights were burned out and gasket of refrigerated is not working well. These things we did not care as we could easily survive but you can call PFa then they will handle it. I will definitely repeat an apartment of PFa. I just miss the baguette tradition...

I`ve stayed in this studio in 2 different occasions and it was perfect both times. I love specially its location in the heart of Le Marais, but the studio itself is perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped and the decoration is very cozy. It also has excellent radiator heating. I think it´s charm resides in the beautiful light that comes from its windows and its beautiful views. The building is also beautiful and in it you´ll feel like a true parisian from the first day. Besides all that, the company has been very professional and the whole booking ad payment process was very easy!

This place fits us perfectly. I travel with my family and these are our criteria when searching for accomodations: *We want an apartment so we can all stay in one place with living room and kitchen. *We want a place that is easy to walk to Notre Dame, Louvre, Latin Quarter. And very easy to walk to the metro, train stations *It makes sense economically, the rate is lower than the hotel. It does not have to be the most luxury place, as long as it's clean and functional. Some pluses: *The apartment has everything we could possibly need, very thoughtful *The managers, are very helpful, friendly and professional. *The bakery downstaires is so nice. *Free phone calls to many countries

August 2013

Location was great, but note that it's in a pedestrian only area -- so cabs can only take you within 1 block. But the block is spectacular: restaurants, creperie, easy metro access, etc. We had an 18-mo old, so the 4 story walk up was hard. Without kids, it would have totally fine. Also, PFa provided a pack n play, anticipating our request, giving us useful tips, and providing great service. They were great all the way around! We used PFa a few years ago, and the francophone service was terrible -- even for French speakers like us. They now have anglophone reps who are service oriented and super helpful. Great move on their part!

The help with luggage and the explanation we received about the apartment was very good. The apartment was on the 2nd or 3rd floor (50 steps). It was clean with large windows. It would only suit a family because you had go through one bedroom to get to the next bedroom.Because it is an old building (the tiles in the kitchen floor are loose and the wooden floor squeaks)you have to make allowances. We loved it.

August 2013

The apartment is older than it looks in the pictures and that is my only complaint. It was more than large enough for two of us, and three people would have been comfortable. The apartment is walking distance from 3 metro lines, the Louvre and the Opera house, a short walk to a local grocery store and a large selection of cafés and restaurants. A perfect, quiet location for a start in the city. The rental staff was lovely and provided another apartment for us when an accident extended our stay (I broke my ankle).

We rented this unit primarily because it was two bedrooms with two baths and air conditioned. The toilet to one of the bathrooms was actually in the hallway near the entrance not in one of the two "full bathrooms" as advertised. And, the air conditioning was a single unit in the back bedroom which didn't provide much help to the other bedroom or the living area. Also to get to the back bedroom, the only access was through the front bedroom. Great for a family maybe but not for two couples. Take note that the apartment is on the second floor with no lift. We loved the location and the wifi but it wasn't exactly what appeared in the listing. Check in and check out were very professional.

The apartment was very well located on Rue de Turenne; with easy access to key areas such as Place des Vosges, the Rue des Francs-Bourgeois and Rue de Bretagne. The apartment was located between second and third floors without a lift so it might be a problem for some after a long day walking around Paris (51 steps in all I am told). It was spacious with all the required facilities. It backed onto a court yard and was very quiet. Paris Furnished Apartments was flexible enough to allow us to move into the apartment as soon as we arrived early in the morning and communication with Ianto from PFA was excellent.

We stayed at this flat for 2 and a half weeks, during the coldest april ever, a couple with a teenager son. The flat is very quite, in an internal building, at the fifth floor. The location is superb:2 minutes walk to the closest Metro station - 4 September , 5 minutes walk to the Garnier Opera, 5 minutes walk to Louvre, 5 minutes walk to a big Monopix (supermarket). The heating was excellent, all the equipment and Wi-fi worked well - including a nice CD Player, which allowed us to listen to the CD of French music that we bought. The kitchen is small, but has all needed for a modest meal of up to 5-6 people. The beds were very comfortable. The furniture is in very good condition and the whole flat is very pleasant, full of light. I liked also the fact that you can look out of the windows and there are no other buildings in front of you - all are bellow you.
